I have spent more than a decade guiding students through the college admission process, as an admissions officer and a college counselor, where I have worked at both boarding and day schools. I support students through every stage of the admissions process—from managing athletic recruitment and building college lists to strengthening their voice through essay writing and interview preparation.

Approach to Counseling

I believe the college search is as much about self-discovery as it is about strategy. My goal is to help students uncover and express their most authentic selves—what excites them, what motivates them, and what kind of community they hope to join. I bring structure and clarity to what can feel like an overwhelming process, balancing practical guidance with encouragement. Having worked on both sides of the admission desk, I help students think like admission officers while also ensuring their individuality shines through every part of their application.

Areas of Expertise

  • College admission strategy and application development.
  • Student-athlete recruitment and NCAA navigation.
  • Essay coaching and storytelling in applications.
  • Advising students from independent and boarding schools.

Personal Touch

I love getting to know students beyond their transcripts and resumes—what makes them laugh, what drives their curiosity, and what moments have shaped who they are. As a former college athlete and high school coach, I especially enjoy helping student-athletes navigate the recruiting process with confidence and integrity. Outside of work, you’ll find me spending time with my family, exploring museums, attending live music, and on the hunt for delicious pizza and cinnamon rolls.
