NACAC Spring 2021 College Fairs
Like everything else, the Covid-19 pandemic has changed the way colleges are participating in college fairs. And this is a good thing! NACAC (the National Association for College Admission Counseling), with the Common App, is sponsoring a series of “virtual” college fairs, with nearly 600 colleges and universities online to talk with students through this virtual platform.
Virtual college fairs will be offered on January 31, February 28, March 7 (STEM Fair), March 16 (Performing & Visual Arts Fair), March 21, April 10 (Western US Fair), April 20 (Southeastern US Fair), and May 2.

Remember, attending college fairs, even remotely, is valuable for “demonstrating interest” in those colleges. They are an opportunity to “meet” with admission officers and learn more about colleges on your list.
Also, please be sure to check with your school college admission counselor, your local newspaper, or the admission offices of colleges that interest you to find out if they are doing any other virtual programming.
