College Goals, LLC, a nationally known educational consulting and advisory firm today announced that Krista Peterson will be joining the company as a consultant, effective immediately.

Ms. Peterson joins College Goals from her own consulting practice, which she founded and has led on behalf of clients across the country since 2017. Prior to her work as an independent educational consultant, Ms. Peterson spent more than 30 years as an admission officer and admission director in independent schools. She also worked for a number of years as a college counselor at schools around the country.

With the addition of Ms. Peterson, who is based in Princeton, NJ, College Goals expands its footprint in the Eastern United States, complementing the company’s presence in locations as far west as Hawaii and California, and as far north as Rhode Island. In addition to her decades of experience as an educational insider, and her knowledge of the college admission landscape, Ms. Peterson will expand the scope of College Goals’ practice by offering additional services including boarding school placement, language-based learning programs, and gap year opportunities. For its part, College Goals has seen significant growth in demand for its services as families struggle to understand and navigate the uncertain and shifting educational landscape created by the Covid-19 pandemic and the always complex college admission process.
